McCabe Promotional Earns B Corporation Certification
McCabe Promotional Advertising is featured in this month's edition of the London Inc. Magazine for achieving B Corporation Certification, a major accomplishment for companies that are committed to conducting business at the highest level of social and environmental responsibility. B Corp Certification is granted following an assessment of a company's level of social and environmental sustainability, accountability and transparency, and the addition of a social and environmental commitment into the company's legal structure. This in-depth process also evaluates how company stakeholders are impacted by decisions like supply chain, input materials, philanthropic efforts and employee benefits and ensures those decisions are meeting the highest standards. McCabe is one of only eight promotional product distributors worldwide to hold this honor, and the first distributor in Ontario to do so. Jamie McCabe, president of McCabe Promotional Advertising, states in regard to becoming B Corp Certified in the article, "When we make decisions, we include all stakeholders, including our employees along with the environmental impact. We were doing a lot of these things already, but we weren't documenting them. We've also changed our articles of incorporation to reflect these beliefs."
